Weather Overview:

Hua Hin, without a doubt, has some of the best weather conditions in Thailand, with very little rain, even in the rainy season. You can go there more or less any time and still have a very pleasant stay. Shorts, t’s, sun-dresses and casual dressing are normal attire among the expat tourists and residents.

Hua Hin has one of the lowest rain falls in Thailand and being a coastal town has the added benefit of lovely sea breezes. Being close to the sea, this tropical climate has a rather high degree of humidity.

Thailand has three "seasons." The “Hot Season”, falls between March and May. The “Rainy Season” occurs June through October and lastly the “Cool Season” which runs from November thru February. In the hot season, temperature highs can sometimes reach 38 – 40. The rainy season can begin in May, with sudden showers for an hour or two and typically sunny and hot weather for the rest of the day. Still despite the showers, the Hua Hin weather is quite lovely and suntans can still be had, just make sure an umbrella is handy. The "Cool Season” from October/November through to March is considered the prime tourist season and is normally the recommended time to visit Thailand.
